How to Use Bowsite Mobile

To navigate Bowsite's Mobile use your Up and Down keys to scroll from top to bottom. If a link is numbered, you can simply press that number on your phone and the link will automatically open. On our State and Big Game forums, where a topic you are following may be quite long, you may hit the link that says "reverse display order" and the list direction will change from oldest first to newest first which is helpful if you are following a thread and do not wish to scroll throug previously read messages.

For pages that use drop-down boxes (such as our state forums for chosing a particular state) follow these instructions.

1. Move your cursor down until the list box is highlighted with a border.
2. Hit your phone's ENTER key.
3. Scroll your cursor down to the desired state and hit ENTER again
4. On some phones, step 3 above is the final step. On other phones you must then move your cursor to the button below the state forum list and hit your ENTER key once more to open the state forum.

Registration is required to contribute to our mobile interactive features and requires that you register first using your computer. Once you are registered at your PC, you can then extend that registration to your mobile phone. Due to various phone functions and features there may be limitations to whether your phone will remember your registation (using a cookie). Phones that do not support persistent cookies will require you to enter either your PIN number, or your Cell Phone Number (optional) on each submission. Since PIN numbers are difficult to remember, we highly recommend that you register your Cell Phone Number on your Bowsite.com profile. This will allow you to reclaim your registration and contribute interactively without the use of a PIN number. It will also allow you to receive Text messaging should you wish to activate that on your profile.

Nearly every topic on Bowsite.com contains embedded photos submitted by our visitors. Due to limitations in display and wireless carrier download speeds, the embedded photos have been replaced by a link. Simply click that link and the photo will open. Embedded videos are not supported at this time however future plans will integrate mobile formatted videos from Bowhunting.TV as well.
